Grids per m2: 5,4. Gravel/chippings consumption: ±80m2 per hour. Installing the grids is easy and fast. In short, this is how it is done. First of all you use mixed granulate as foundation, also known as repac or crushed rubble, preferable in the size 0-32 mm, or at most 0-40 mm.

This is how you create a stable foundation layer. Especially when you have a high pressure resistance (like a driveway of parking) it's important to have a stable foundation.

You now install the grids on the levelling layer, in stretcher (also called running) bond. If you have an edge or an opening you can easily cut the grids with a handsaw. Once you have covered the entire area with stabilisation grids, you can fill them with gravel or chippings. You spread the gravel over the holes in the grids until all holes are filled, then finish with a covering layer, hiding the grids as much as possible. You will need a gravel/chippings layer of about 5 cm.
