You now install the grids on the levelling layer, in stretcher (also called running) bond. If you have an edge or an opening you can easily cut the grids with a handsaw. Once you have covered the entire area with stabilisation grids, you can fill them with gravel or chippings. You spread the gravel over the holes in the grids until all holes are filled, then finish with a covering layer, hiding the grids as much as possible.
